Tap, tap, tap. Why hello there. Tapping is me trying to figure out what I want to write about. Life has been a whirlwind that I just don't know where to start and to be honest I don't have many pictures to post. Maybe if I was a stay at home mom I would have cute little pics of my babies hanging out but I get to really thinking and that probably wouldn't happen because I am lazy like that. Basketball season is officially over which means we have a little time on our hands. We go a little crazy thinking about FREE TIME. What is that? What are we supposed to do? Oh yes, prepare for baby #3. My heart races when I say that. BABY #3. I am not even 30 yet and we are about to have our 3rd baby and the oldest is only 4. Take a deep breath and breathe! I know what you are all thinking, um, there is a way to stop that. Of course I like the plan that God has given us, I mean anybody who knows me knows this is what I have always wanted but it is a little scary to think about baby number 3 coming in less than 4 months.
We have all been sick in the Salinas home. Jamie got the flu, I had flu like symptoms but no flu, Jax has had a few weeks of congestion and random stomach bugs and J'Lee has had a little congestion. Can we all take a moment to knock on wood so that J'Lee doesn't get any of the other stuff that we have had.? No, knock on wood NOW! Go figure, she is our straight formula fed baby and we have had less problems with her! We had to make a trip to Lousianna this past weekend even while under the weather for our conference tournament. While there, Jax threw up and then on our way home had an explosive diaper. This made for an interesting hour. Imagine a shart (you know like on the movie "Along Came Polly") and then think of avacadoe soup. This was bad and it so happened that God placed us at a very nice convienant store/truck stop so that we could clean the mess off of him and me. For the past three weeks Jax has been very defiant, mean, and just grouchy. I think the baby has alot to do with it, but I also think this boy hasn't been feeling well. We have started to see some change in him the past two days. After lots of prayer and just asking to receive God's love as parents and for Jax to receive His love unconditionally, Jax has been MUCH better. He is starting to eat more and is showing some life. So I think we are all seeing some light physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Besides Jax being Jax he is talking so much these days. He is communicating very well and repeats lots of different words. Jamie and I figure that he is about a year behind where his sister was at his age. Special kid ;D. I can't believe he will be 2 in May. Maybe we have hit the terrible twos early!
Can't you tell that we have our hands full. I love this little boy so much. He has tested us as parents in so many ways but am so thankful for the challenge. It has only made us better parents.
J'Lee has grown up so much the past few weeks, it's crazy. She has shown so much nurturing and compassion towards Jaxon and my belly. She is super excited about another round of campfire reading. This is a 6 week program that Hardin-Simmons does for kids ages 4-5. They spend an hour doing all kinds of fun stuff. This girl is definitely my girl...she can't wait to start pre-k in August. She is already talking about school clothes shopping and buying school supplies. That is exactly how I was!!! We will be signing up for singing classes soon!!
It's a little harder these days to get her picture.
Can you believe I am 23 weeks. EEK!!! My belly is growing fast. I will have to say with J'Lee and Jax I had to stop wearing my rings at 20 weeks and I was wearing lots of maternity clothes. However, right now my rings still fits and I dont have to wear maternity clothes everyday.
Here are some belly pics {most of you have seen these on facebook or instagram, but I know some of you havent seen these}
I hate asking Jamie to take my picture because he sometimes takes it personal when I make him retake the picture 15 times. Men don't understand angles sometimes.
{Sorry about all the iPhone pictures but that is all that I have with me these days}
I am feeling good these days besides having the crud. I am getting on the workout kick next week so wish me luck. I will have to take it easy since I have been stagnant for a while. I hope to get back into the blogging scene more often as well. See ya tomorrow!
