The one you need

My husband is a man of few words.  He doesn't talk much, speaks if spoken to and typically keeps to himself.  He minds his own business and doesn't meddle in anyone elses lives.  He is a simple man.  But when this man speaks, everyone stops to listen.  His message is usally loud.  I am truly a lucky girl.  I have felt terribly guilty the past two days of my response to this little boy in my belly and it breaks my heart that I would want something else other than what God has given me.  Let's rephrase that, I want this sweet boy more than anything and can't wait to meet him, but it was quite the shock to have heard two different things.  Anyway, my husband has been very quiet about this entire situation and it drives me bananas that he isn't doing cartweels about our exciting news, but he knows exactly how to answer my questions.  He is very much content with having only one girl.  His love for her is out of this world so I think he likes  loves the idea of only having her for right now.  The boys are just icing on the cake.  His plans for them are extravegent and they will think he is the coolest dad ever.  His quiet little self texted me this song and I couldn't help but fall to my knees and cry and thank Jesus for his saving grace and his neverending love.

What a beautiful song! This is truly my husband's and daughter's relationship. He is the one that usaually is getting her ready and has since she was a baby because I was working.  I think God has something to do with this sweet relationship.  This song isn't just for daughters and fathers though, it's for all of us. I hope that this is the message that we both can give all our children as parents.  I hope that as much as J'Lee will long for someone to tell her that she is beautiful, she will know that she already has that answer from Jesus.  I hope that when she is lost or confused she knows exactly who to go to.
