Workout much?

Working out...we have such a love-hate relationship.  Do you have that problem? I love the results but sometimes it just stinks to have to do it everyday.  This year has been a year of me dipping my feet into some more strenuous working out.  My goal was to get fit, to be able to workout with my basketball girls and not die afterwards.  Gosh Diana, talk about re-living your glory days! Ha! I can laugh at myself.  I was just tired of having no discipline in sticking with anything. I wanted to stick with this!  The older you get, the motivation gets harder. But when you have a mom who has drastically changed her life by working out twice a day, once in the morning {5am} and then in the evening {zumba} and on the weekends, it changes your life too! She really is amazing.  She has lost over 40 pounds and has changed her shape completely. She has been an inspiration! So if my mom can put her heart into it, I had no excuses.  I have been all over the exercise chart and finally found a few things that I really enjoy. I like variety, I get bored really fast...that may have something to do with my A.D.D.  I really don't have A.D.D. but sometimes I feel like it!  I wanted to share some of the things that I have enjoyed this year so maybe you may want to try them.

1. Nike Training App- it's free and you don't have to put any thought into it.  Right there, stop what you are doing and download it NOW!! This app is amazing.

Are you back? Maybe you were so inspired by the free and no thoughts required you just started working out now!

You just choose what you want to do, what area you want to burn, and how long you want to work out and it comes up with the workout. It also includes videos and explanations of each exercise. It is like having a personal trainer right there with you. She speaks to you too!! I always need a little encouragement.  This is my fix for wanting to have a personal trainer.  I usually workout during my lunch break so I have an hour to get it all done. The longest workout is 45 minutes.  There might be a 60 minute one, I am not sure. It also gives you goals to reach and every time you reach that goal you get to unlock a reward.  Just like a video game. Those rewards are pretty cool. I don't want to spoil your fun so try it out, you will love it.  After doing this for a month and a half, I went down 1 dress size but my body completely changed form. My arms were more tone, my butt firmed up and I can do some killer push-ups!

2. Art of Strength.  Have you heard about this?  Well, I do the free version.  Apparently it cost lots of money but well worth its price.  I have been doing this with a co-worker and a few football coaches and I love it.  It is much like the Nike training app but you do quick sets of exercises.  You are able to get both your cardio and strength training in all at once. You can check out more here! The second video is my baby doctor. Yeah, she's what you call a Bad A! Yeah, it's appropriate to say a cuss word to describe her!

If you are wanting something that you can do inside your home with no one around, do the Nike Training!!! It's easy and fun and you can listen to your own itunes!

Of course we can't have a post without my kiddos, so here they are. Jax was full of love tonight!

And my big girl baby!

Ok, so anyone who knows me knows that I DO NOT WORKOUT. I mean ever in any way, I hate it. But, I am tempted to LOOK at the Nike Training App now...lol. And you do look great, all the working out is really paying off!
