Good Bye Summer...Hello Fall!

Thanks Amanda for the Summer Sum Up Blog, it got my wheels turning! You guys definitely need a summer wrap up of our lives now that I have to dress up everyday to work and Jamie has to go to school. This was a summer of firsts...and boy did we enjoy it.

• Jamie wrapped up the semester with great grades and dove into the summer as the stay-at-home dad! He did such a great job with J'Lee...I was quite impressed. There was never a dull moment at the Salinas' house.

• J'Lee got her first two teeth, learned how to walk, waved bye-bye, and lot's more fun stuff! She also started eating real food and just getting into everything.

• We took our first vacations with J'Lee (Dallas and Port Aransas)...swam in the ocean, layed out on the beach and watched some baseball. We also took several trips to our home town and attended a thousand weddings... maybe a thousand and one!
  

• Jamie and I had our two year anniversary! Here is where it all started
• We spent quite a bit of the summer visiting Abilene mall letting J'Lee make some new friends. She has such a great time playing there and we have enjoyed watching her interact with the other kids.

This has been such an amazing summer and we have been blessed to share it with our sweet angel. She has grown up so fast and we both know that the summer would have been boring and long if she wasn't there to entertain us.

And have had just plain fun!


I'm so excited to jump into the fall. We have J'Lee's first birthday in October, we get to spend time with our basketball family. We hit the road traveling for basketball, watch Uncle P.J. play football, Jamie complete another semester of school, and just watch J'Lee grow. So goodbye to Summer, we will miss you but we will see you soon! Fall....buckle up cause here we come!
