Easters

I have to admit, we often quote Nacho Libre!  We love the movie!  I guess for several reasons, one being that it takes me back to when I was younger and my abuelo would watch wrestling.  It was a ritual of his and he would get upset if you told him it wasn't real.  That's a big deal in Mexico! Second, Jack Black is freak'n (i don't like that word but I need you to see the extent of my love for this man) HILARIOUS! I can just see him and I start laughing.  And my third reason, we speak Nacho's lingo :).  So this year we did Easters (nacho's lingo) a little different.  We spent Saturday at Grammy and Pappy's and did Sunday at my Abuela and Abuelo's house.  The weather got pretty nasty on Saturday, we even got a little scared with sirens going off in town. Despite the crazy weather, we had a great time at Grammy and Pappy's. (you can click on the pictures to see them bigger)

Jax had a great time.  There was one time he ended up eating a jelly bean.  Oops! The kids were funny about the easter egg hunting. They would pick up an egg and then look and see what was in it. I think they were copying Tryston who was looking for the money eggs. Ha!

Here are J'Lee and Asher.  We don't see much of J'Lee when Asher is around.  She LOVES him and will do anything he does.  They have a great time together.  I am excited to watch them grow up.  I just wish we lived closer!

 Here is our attempt for a grand-kids shot.  Yeah, not happening with busy body over to there in the blue shirt.  As you can see, we tried putting him to the back so he could make his way to the spot by J'Lee. That didn't work out! 

 

 
 I love this series! You just get that good feeling of love and laughter.  They absolutely adore all their grand-babies.  These are priceless!

Check out Lacie's belly! She is due in June.  This will be a new addition to the Salinas bunch! We can't wait for him to get here!

We slept through the storm and then spent Sunday at my Abuela's house.  It was just a few of us there.  Gosh, I remember when we were younger, everybody would go. Easter egg hunts were so much fun.  My Aunt Janie would save all year long to make the eggs with confetti. We thought those were amazing.  I mean, there were probably 40 people at my grandparents house.  It was so much fun.  Life happens though so fewer people attend these things. That's ok, it's just part of life.
