Baby Salinas is the size of a lemon today! We are 14 weeks and growing fast. Well, my tummy is! It is totally evident that I am pregnant...there is a prominent baby bump. I don't think I am supposed to be showing this early. They say it happens on your second one. We are all doing good, just staying busy. Here is what is going on with the baby:
Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb. Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another. His kidneys are producing urine, which he releases into the amniotic fluid around him -- a process he'll keep up until birth. He can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch him sucking his thumb. In other news: Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches -- -- and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces.about the size of a lemon.
PS: Babycenter thinks I am having a boy this week :)

No they don't!! They just alternate between the sexes each week to be politically correct. Still a girl ;)

Oh, and by the way...I like that the title is "lemons"; indicating there is still hope there's two!!! Hee hee.
